Please ensure you read this information!
The health and welfare of the dogs in our care is paramount!
With this in mind, ALL owners with their dogs, who are looking at BOARDING with us MUST make an appointment prior to their stay for a MEET AND GREET.
MEET AND GREET is a minimum of 1 hour session where you can bring your dog to see how he or she feels about us.
It's very important to us that everyone is happy and we all get to know one another. This helps tremendously with settling in to a happy home life together.
If everyone is happy and comfortbale we will then give you some paperwork to fill in regarding contact details, vets, alergies, diet and so on.
There will also be a section about your dog and it's character, likes, dislikes, types of interaction we need to give and of course exercise.
It is a simple set of questions but it really is helpful for us to ensure we get it right.
As with the BOARDERS section, it is so important for any DAYCARE dog and it's owner to be completely happy with the service we provide and the way we do things.
With this in mind we strongly advise you to make an appointment for a visit to us prior to any full day sessions.
Again you will be given some paperwork to fill in regarding your dog. Contact details, vet, alergies , likes and dislikes and general character of your dog.
*NO DOG WILL BE ACCEPTED WITH OUT AN UP-TO-DATE VACCINATION CARD OR VETERINARY EMAIL OF CONFIRMATION. SORRY BUT WE CAN NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS AS IT IS A LICENSING REQUIREMENT BY CEREDIGION COUNTY COUNCIL *
ALL dogs MUST be wormed and Flea treated as part of an ongoing programme.
*Barker's reserve the right to turn away dogs presented with fleas without refund on payment *
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT PUPPIES UNDER 6 MONTHS OLD (FOR BOARDING), AGGRESSIVE OR ANTI-SOCIAL DOGS. WHILST WE TRY OUR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE, SOMETIMES CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT ALLOW US TO DO SO AS A MATTER OF SAFTEY AND CANINE WELFARE. IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES WE WOULD ALWAYS TRY TO RECOMMEND ALTERNATIVES.
